Local colour: Colourful resorts on Phu Thap Boek in Phetchabun's Lom Kao district will soon be repainted brown to make them blend in with their natural surroundings. All of these measures are part of the local authorities' plan to re-regulate Phu Thap Boek. However, 53 other resorts have been deemed "outsider encroachers" whose buildings are scheduled to be demolished, Phetchabun governor Phibun Hatthakit Koson said. Resort owners and Hmong people asked officials to delay the demolition. However, resort owners who broke a law cannot avoid punishments, Lt Yutthasak stressed.
